Upcoming Classes
Open Water Diver
Tiedemann’s Diving Center offers a very flexible teaching program that will help you to learn how to Scuba Dive. The first step is to become an Open Water Diver. We work with you personally to create an Open Water Diver course that works to meet your schedule. The course can start anytime. Click the link above, Open Water Diver, for more details. Call us if you have any questions or you want to set up an appointment to start your underwater adventure.
Dutch Springs Weekends
Every month from May to October, Tiedemann’s Diving Center, runs a Dutch Springs Weekend. Dutch Springs is an Underwater Park set up for Divers. With over 45 acres of water and water depths to 100 feet, Dutch Springs is a great place for Divers to work on their “art”. We use it because conditions are very predictable.
Whether you are just getting certified or an experienced diver, Dutch Springs is prefect place to dive. With a variety of attractions, different water depth, and great above water amenities, Dutch Springs has it all.
Tiedemann’s Diving Center goes to Dutch Springs one weekend each month from May to October. On our Dutch Springs weekends we offer the 4 dives for Open Water Divers to complete their certification.
Want to continue your diver education after getting your Open Water Diver certification, we offer a wide variety of Advanced Open Water Specialities. Get more details by clicking on Advanced Training heading above.
Want to yourself? We do Technical Training that helps you to get to the next level. Get more details by clicking on the Technical Training heading above.
One of the most important things we do on our Dutch Springs weekend is provide a comfortable setting among follow divers - for divers to just go diving. Taking the time to go diving and have fun is very important. Education is great, and that’s what Tiedemann’s is all about, but experience is also important. That’s why you’re invited to join us on any of our Dutch Springs Weekends.
The fun starts this year, 2020, on May 16 & 17…

Beneath The Sea Dive Convention
Postponed to October 9th, 10th & 11th, 2020
We at Beneath the Sea must sadly advise and confirm the rescheduling of the March 27th, 28th, and 29th exhibition due to COVID-19 concerns. While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our exhibitors, our guests, staff and community very seriously. We urge everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials.
Beneath the Sea 2020 will now take place on October 9th, 10th, and 11th of 2020. All tickets for the March dates will be honored for the rescheduled October dates.
After the October 2020 show, the next scheduled Beneath The Sea Expo is for March 25th, 26th, and 27th, 2022.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this critical time and we appreciate your continued support.
We look forward to seeing you at the Meadowlands this Fall.

Friends Of Tiedemann’s
Over the years we have had the opportunity to become friends with so many great people. These friends have taking classes with us, traveled with us, and been great supporters of our little dive shop.
Like us, many of our friends are small business owners, who offer all types of services. We have had the chance to use many of those services over the years. We know first-hand how good it is to work with a person and business that you can trust. We have always run our business to do just that, for our customers.
We want to share with you some of those businesses and people that we know personally. This is by far not a complete list. Over the years we have had the opportunity to teach over 16,000 people. This is a work-in-progress that we will had over time.
If you wish to know more about our friends, just contact us and we will be happy to share our experiences with them, with you. Thank you for your support of Tiedemann’s Diving Center and our friends.
